These terms govern your use of AvatarForge. By using the site you agree to them. They are written to match how the site actually works — a free tool with no accounts — and to be readable by a human being.

Acceptance of terms

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the site. You don't need to register or accept anything with a checkbox — using AvatarForge at all means you accept these terms.

What the service is

AvatarForge is a free AI avatar generation tool. It generates avatars, profile pictures, headshots and portraits from an uploaded photo or from a text description, using an AI image model. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" — without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use AvatarForge to do any of the following:

• Upload photos you have no right to use. Only upload images of yourself or images you have permission to use.
• Impersonate real people. Do not generate avatars designed to pass as a specific real person (other than yourself) in a way that deceives others.
• Create illegal, infringing or harmful content — including content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit or that violates anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Upload photos of minors without the consent of their parent or legal guardian.
• Abuse the service automatically — no scraping, bulk automated generation, circumventing rate limits, or attempting to disrupt or overload the platform.

AI-generated content

• Results are AI interpretations. They may be inaccurate, stylized or differ from the input, and the same input can produce different results on each generation.
• You are responsible for how you use generated avatars and for the content you upload, including making sure your use complies with the rules of platforms where you publish them.
• We claim no ownership of your uploaded photos or of the avatars you generate. What you create is yours to use; what you upload remains yours.

Intellectual property

The AvatarForge name, interface, design, text and code are owned by us or licensed to us. Third-party names and trademarks referenced on the site (platforms, styles and so on) belong to their respective owners and do not imply endorsement. Nothing here transfers ownership of your own content to us — see the section above.

Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service — including individual tools, styles or the site itself — at any time and without notice. Because the service is free, we can't guarantee uninterrupted access, and generation capacity may vary with demand.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AvatarForge and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. You use the site at your own risk.

Third-party services

Avatar generation relies on a third-party AI image model. Their availability, internal policies and practices are outside our control, and their own terms may govern the processing step. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page with its "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be reflected here before or as they take effect.
